A friend of mine asked me to do these caricatures as presents for her year 6 class who were doing a production of The Wizard of Oz. Each image was tailored to represent each child and was given as an end of year gift to the kids as they moved up into secondary school. I was really pleased I could contribute to the production and was chuffed to hear that the kids loved their one of a kind presents.

Sir Foxington character sheet

This character was created to be the mascot for a new social game I was creating with PlayDemand. The game is set in a medieval fantasy setting so the character needed to match the look and the feel of the game backgrounds and UI design.

The character needed to be handed over to the art team so I was required to create this character sheet to make the look of ‘Sir Foxington’ as consistent as possible. Jewel Pairs can be played on facebook now, where you can see the finished character.

Snow White at the Swan Theatre

I recently worked with The Swan Theatre to produce a poster for their 2012 Pantomime ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’. They had a lot of ideas on how they wanted the artwork and it was a pleasure incorporating them all into the final design. The theatre had been dissatisfied with the previous designs they had been sent so I had to get it spot on straight away. As a massive fan of both theatre and Disney, and having played Snow White myself in Panto last year, this project was a pleasure to work on and I look forward to working with The Swan Theatre again. Under the sea is one of my favourite settings to illustrate, there’s so many colours and things going on. I tried not to let my Disney love show through on this image but I just had to add a dinglehopper in there somewhere!

Wicked

Been meaning to finish this for a while now, an old drawing which I would probably change given the chance but just wanted to try out my new wacom tablet I got for christmas so finally finished colouring it. I drew this originally after I had seen the musical ‘Wicked for the first time’.
